The first thing I have to say about Coco’s is that you don’t need to eat anything on the day you go! The portion sizes are really big!
My husband and I went here with some friends as we like to try new restaurants when we can. We were not disappointed!
The restaurant is very nice. There is the a seating area upstairs as well as downstairs. The restaurant is very comfortable with a lovely atmosphere. The waiters are attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.
The menu is absolutely massive. Two pages of starters and two pages, double columns of mains. You really will find something for everyone here!
To start I has the Crostini pesto – homemade focaccia bread, goat’s cheese, parma ham and homemade pesto. The focaccia bread is absolutely delicious. It’s made onsite at the restaurant and was simply superb.
For my main I had the Linguine cozze – mussels, shallots, fresh chillies, touch of garlic, tomato and white wine. This came piled high with mussels in their shells. The mussels were absolutely delicious in the white wine sauce. By the time I’d gotten through them I was stuffed!
My husband and his friend also had the prawn starters and both looked amazing. We had the garlic bread for the table with was lovely. I love garlic and this was really garlicy!
For mains my husband had the Rigatoni filletto – pasta with fillet steak flamed in brand, onions, mushrooms, cream, pickled pepper corns, dolceatte chese and a touch of Napoli sauce. This was really yummy, the steak was cooked really well and once again the portion sizes were huge!
His friend had the Filletto Rossini – fillet steak en croute, pate, parma ham and red wine sauce with a touch of marsala wine.
Overall, a really great Italian restaurant. There is heaps of choice, the portions are huge and the food the delicious!
Definitely one to try out if you’re looking for a restaurant in Altrincham! I’d recommend booking over the weekend and it gets very busy!
